Job summary

Halfords in Leeds is seeking a Centre Manager to lead the Autocentre team, drive exceptional customer journeys, and deliver strong business performance. You will coach staff, ensure health and safety standards, and manage KPI targets while providing a first-class service in a fast-paced automotive environment.

This full-time role offers an on-target earnings package up to £50,600 with a base of £36,000–£39,000 and a generous uncapped monthly bonus averaging £11,600 per year.

Qualifications

• Experience leading automotive or similar teams.
• Proven ability to deliver high customer satisfaction and manage KPIs.
• Coaching-based leadership style with on-the-job training capability.
• Experience with Health & Safety compliance is essential.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient with in-house IT systems and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Autocentre team to achieve targets.
• Ensure a high standard of customer experience and satisfaction.

• Comprising a base salary of £36,000 - £39,000
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £11,600 per year.
• 5 days a week (this centre is closed on Sunday's)

Skills and experience

• Fantastic leadership and team management skills within the automotive or similar industry
• Experience delivering high customer satisfaction and displaying effective management.
• Engaging and motivational, coaching-based approach to team development and able to provide in the moment training.
• Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety
• Experienced with high sales turnover and managing KPI's
• Excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
• IT Proficient, with the willingness to learn in-house systems.
• Good time management
• A current valid driving licence
