Job summary

AMS Skills Creation in partnership with the Office for National Statistics (ONS) is seeking a Census Test Field Team Leader to coordinate and support a team of Household Officers across designated areas in the UK. This field-based role requires coordinating workloads, ensuring safety and data quality, and providing ongoing coaching to team members.

You will travel within your assigned area; training is provided to develop leadership and operational skills.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership, supervisory or coaching experience.
• Confidence using a laptop and smartphone, including various digital applications.
• Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support a team of Household Officers across your assigned area.
• Plan workloads, monitor progress and ensure field activities meet safety, security and data quality standards.
• Provide guidance, coaching and support to team members.
• Maintain accurate records and use digital systems to manage activity.
