AMS Skills Creation, in partnership with the Office for National Statistics, is recruiting a motivated Team Leader (Household) for the Census Test 2027. You will coordinate a household field team across your assigned area, ensuring safety, data quality and timely field visits, with travel as required.

No prior census or public sector experience is required; strong leadership, coaching ability and resilience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in leadership, supervision or coaching.
• Ability to plan workloads and manage competing priorities.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfort with using laptops and smartphones and digital apps.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and motivate a field team to meet project targets.
• Plan workloads and allocate field activities with safety and data quality in mind.
• Monitor progress and support team performance.
• Provide coaching and guidance to team members.
• Maintain records using digital systems and reporting tools.
