Thomas Franks is seeking a Chef De Partie for a term-time contract at a Manchester school. The role is 40 hours per week, paid at £15 per hour, with free parking on site and a focus on fresh, seasonal menus.

You will join a busy kitchen team, work to brand standards, and ensure food hygiene and allergen controls are rigorously observed. DBS and right-to-work checks will be part of the recruitment process.

Competenze

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous level.
• Commitment to fresh seasonal ingredients and bespoke menus.
• Understand basics of food cost and wastage.
• Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written).

Mansioni

• Work in a team of chefs providing catering to pupils and teachers.
• Produce food from fresh ingredients, from scratch, following brand standards.
• Ensure food hygiene, health & safety and allergen controls are followed.
• Help manage wastage and maintain cost controls.
