Job summary

CIS Security Ltd in London is seeking a CCTV Controller to support the Duty Security Manager and oversee shift operations, ensuring high standards of security, safety and customer care. You will monitor CCTV, manage incident timelines, and supervise the security team to maintain service excellence.

The role requires an SIA CCTV licence (DS or SG), corporate CCTV experience, strong communication skills and the ability to perform under pressure in a demanding environment, with opportunities for

Qualifications

• SIA CCTV Licence is required.
• Corporate CCTV security experience is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and encourage outstanding customer service delivery.
• Ensure security personnel follow duties, policies and procedures.
• Monitor CCTV cameras in the Security Control Room.
• Collate incident timelines and view CCTV images for incident management.
• Prepare and maintain Security Control Room equipment for use.
• Keep the Security Control Room tidy.
• Monitor and report all Security Control Room technologies.
• Sign in/out customers and monitor contractor work permits.
• Respond promptly to emergencies using life safety systems as required.
• Inspect equipment for faults and report per procedures.
• Maintain daily electronic occurrence logs (via CIS HUB).
• Maintain asset management, patrols and compliance checks.
• Report discrepancies to Duty Security Manager & Security Manager.
• Monitor site access control passes.
• Oversee weekly fire alarm tests and centre fire panel tests.
• Administer lost & found property.
• Prepare shift rosters and check SIA CIS IDs.
• Report incidents per policies and ensure investigations are recorded.
• Support Duty Security Manager and Security Manager as needed.
• Lead incident response in the Duty Security Manager's absence.
