Job summary

Wyre Borough Council is seeking a Community Safety Support Officer to provide operational and administrative support to the Community Safety Team, with a focus on the CCTV service. The role involves monitoring footage, maintaining records and assisting with the supervision of CCTV volunteers.

You will also handle enquiries, arrange meetings, take minutes, generate statistics and process purchase orders. A CCTV SIA licence or willingness to train is required, along with Level 2 English and Maths

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV footage and review as required.
• Maintain records of CCTV incidents and viewings.
• Coordinate CCTV volunteers and assist with supervision.
• Support sharing and uploading of CCTV information per procedures.
• Respond to enquiries and take minutes; arrange meetings.
• Produce statistical returns and service information.
• Raise purchase orders and process expenses and claims.
• Assist with Information Requests (FOI and SAR).
• Help maintain procedures, data-sharing agreements and webpages.
• Provide administrative support across Environmental Protection and Community Safety.
