Job summary

Wyre is seeking an organised Community Safety Support Officer to provide operational and administrative support to the Community Safety Team, with a focus on the CCTV service. The role includes monitoring footage, handling records, supporting volunteers and processing purchase orders.

The post requires strong administration, confidentiality and the ability to work with sensitive information, with opportunities to contribute to wider Environmental Protection and Community Safety projects as

Qualifications

• Experience providing administrative support with Microsoft Word/Excel
• Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise
• Good written and verbal communication and customer-focused approach
• Professional, confidential handling of information and able to work in a team

Responsibilities

• Monitor, view and download CCTV footage and maintain records
• Support supervision and coordination of CCTV volunteers
• Process purchases and expenses; raise purchase orders
• Respond to enquiries and arrange meetings; take minutes
• Produce statistical returns and service information
• Assist with FOI and Subject Access requests
• Maintain procedures and data-sharing agreements
