Job summary

Wyre in Nottingham is seeking a Community Safety Support Officer to provide operational and administrative support to the Community Safety Team, with a focus on the CCTV service. You will monitor CCTV footage, maintain records, coordinate volunteers and handle enquiries, meetings, minutes and reports, while complying with data sharing and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience of providing administrative support and using Word/Excel.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise a varied workload.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to communicate tactfully and diplomatically.
• Ability to handle sensitive information accurately and confidentially.
• Flexible, proactive team player.
• Education level including Level 2 English & Maths or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, view and download CCTV footage as required.
• Maintain accurate records of CCTV incidents, viewings and downloads.
• Assist with supervision and coordination of CCTV volunteers.
• Support secure sharing and uploading of CCTV information per procedures.
• Respond to enquiries and visitors to the CCTV Unit.
• Arrange meetings, prepare documents and take minutes.
• Produce statistical returns and service information.
• Raise purchase orders and process expenses.
