Wirral Council is seeking Community Safety Officers to join the 24/7 Emergency Control Centre (ECC) and monitor CCTV networks, respond to incidents, and support emergency services. The role covers out-of-hours duties, deployment to incidents, and a community-facing advisory presence.

Full driving licence and DBS clearance are required; SIA licencing training is provided. These are fixed-term contracts until 31/03/2027 with potential one-year extensions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to manage multiple priorities and deliver great customer service.
• Experience with problem solving and engaging with people, including those in vulnerable situations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to activations and incidents.
• Provide call handling for emergency duty social care teams and act as out-of-hours contact.
• Work with Merseyside Police, Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service and HM Coastguard.
