Arc Monitoring operates a 24/7 CCTV and alarm monitoring service from a busy control room in Filton, Bristol. We are recruiting CCTV & Alarm Monitoring Operators to monitor live feeds, respond to alarms, and liaise with clients and security partners.

The role emphasises accuracy, attention to detail, and a professional telephone manner. Successful candidates will undergo security vetting and training, with company-funded SIA CCTV Operator training if needed, and will work in shifts including

• Flexible approach to working hours, including nights and weekends.
• Previous experience in call handling, control room operations, or security monitoring.
• SIA CCTV licence (or willingness to complete the qualification funded by the company).

Your next role

The CCTV & Alarm Monitoring Operator is responsible for monitoring live CCTV footage and responding to alarm activations. This role involves real-time assessment of security threats, communication with external stakeholders, and accurate record-keeping of incidents. Operators play a critical part in ensuring client safety and security, requiring excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a professional telephone manner.

Arc Monitoring is an industry-leading and award-winning CCTV and Alarm Receiving Centre. Operating from a high-specification, busy control room in Filton, Bristol, we provide 24/7 monitoring services for a wide range of sites across the UK.

If you are successful

Successful candidate will be required to pass our security vetting and undergoing specific training, therefore you will need to:

• Provide satisfactory references covering the previous 5 years of employment
• Verify any gaps of employment with supporting documents (e.g. bank statements)

You will also be required to undergo and successful complete the following training (company funded):

• SIA CCTV Operator training if not already certified
