Job summary

Arnold Clark in Glasgow is seeking a reliable Monitoring Officer for its Alarm Receiving Centre. The role requires vigilance, the ability to work 12-hour night shifts (4 on, 4 off), and strong teamwork in a busy control room environment.

You’ll hold a current SIA Public Space Surveillance licence, demonstrate excellent customer service, and maintain confidentiality while handling CCTV and alarm monitoring, reports, and databases.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a reliable Monitoring Officer to join the team at our Alarm Receiving Centre in Glasgow.

Hours

Full time: 12 hour nightshifts, 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

About The Role

As a Monitoring Officer, you’ll work in our state-of-the-art Alarm Receiving Centre, ensuring that all current processes and policies are adhered to at all times.

You’ll have experience of working in a control room and have a current SIA Public Space Surveillance licence. An ability to work and concentrate under pressure is key, as is meticulous attention to detail.

This is a customer-focused department, so this role will be a great fit for someone who loves working with people and as part of a team!

Day-to-day duties
