Job summary

Mitie is seeking an experienced Core Support Officer to join our security team at a prestigious Central London location. You will operate CCTV, access control, and incident management systems while delivering exceptional service to clients and visitors.

The role requires a current SIA licence portfolio, three years in security operations, and a proactive approach to continuous learning. Rotating shifts cover days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• SIA Door Supervisor Licence (valid)

• Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) or FAW qualification

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, contractors and staff.

About The Role

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
• Valid SIA CCTV Licence.
• Current Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) or First Aid at Work (FAW) qualification.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Security Control Room or similar security operations role.
• Strong experience operating CCTV systems and video analytics platforms.
• Proven experience managing access control systems.
• Experience in incident management and security reporting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.

Screening Requirements

• Successful DBS Check.

Desirable Skills

• minimum of three years with Corporate Security
• Experience using Genetec, Lenel, Gallagher, CCure, or similar security management systems.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted CCTV monitoring and security analytics.
• Experience in corporate, critical infrastructure, or high-profile commercial environments.
• Advanced IT skills including Excel, Teams, Power point , and incident management software.
