Job summary

Bupa's Mindplace Cardiff is seeking an experienced Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist to deliver high-quality, face-to-face therapy within our busy centre. This permanent, part-time role requires a minimum of two days per week with sessions scheduled across weekdays; weekend availability is preferred.

You will assess, formulate and provide CBT and brief interventions, work with a multidisciplinary team, and benefit from Bupa’s comprehensive well-being packages.

Qualifications

• Full BABCP accreditation and BABCP-accredited high-intensity CBT training.
• At least 2 years post-qualification experience delivering high-intensity CBT.
• Ability to work face-to-face with diverse clients and maintain clinics.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality CBT or brief interventions with good outcomes.
• Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations to guide care pathways.
• Offer face-to-face, telephone, or video sessions per client preference.
• Adhere to case management processes and collaborate with leads and therapy team.
• Adhere to session limits and refer onwards as needed.
• Provide signposting or onward referrals when required.
• Engage in group psychoeducation and remote wellbeing activities.
• Work autonomously within professional guidelines and Bupa policies.
• Attend regular clinical supervision and contribute to team development.
