Job summary

Bupa Cardiff seeks an experienced Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist to deliver high-quality, face-to-face therapy within our busy centre. The role offers supportive clinical leadership and access to excellent Bupa benefits.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, evidence-based formulations, and flexible delivery models (face-to-face, telephone, video). You will work within BABCP guidelines and contribute to service improvements.

Qualifications

• BABCP accreditation required for practice.
• Post-Graduate Diploma in CBT (High Intensity) with BABCP accreditation.
• At least 2 years post-qualification experience delivering high intensity CBT.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or brief interventions.
• Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations to guide care.
• Offer face-to-face, telephone or video consultations depending on client preference.
• Adhere to case management processes and collaborate with leads and therapy team.
• Adhere to sessional limits based on Private Medical Insurance allowances.
• Provide signposting or onward referrals as required.
• Deliver wellbeing support and coaching when needed.
• Manage caseload and diary with utilization targets.
• Support group psychoeducation and remote presentations or workshops.
