Job summary

Bupa UK is seeking a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist to work face-to-face in Brighton. This permanent, part-time role requires a minimum of two days per week with five appointments per day across weekdays. You will deliver CBT, assessments and formulations, and work within a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient care.

Qualifications

• Full BABCP accreditation is required.
• Post-Graduate Diploma in CBT (BABCP accredited) is essential.
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience delivering high intensity CBT.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality CBT or brief interventions with strong outcomes.
• Deliver assessments and formulations to guide evidence-based care.
• Offer face-to-face, telephone or video sessions per client preference.
• Adhere to case-management processes with leads and therapy team.
• Respect sessional limits per private medical insurance budget.
• Provide signposting or onward referrals as needed.
• Offer wellbeing support and coaching when required.
• Conduct one-off assessments and referrals when required.
• Deliver group psychoeducation and remote presentations as appropriate.
• Work autonomously within professional guidelines and Bupa frameworks.
• Attend regular clinical supervision, individually and in groups.
• Collaborate with operations and clinical team to improve experiences.
