Job summary

Gloucester Services is seeking a hands-on Catering Operations Lead to head the main kitchen and café. You will model warmth, graft and courage, coaching Service Leaders to deliver brilliant customer service, high food quality and daily standards in a dynamic environment.

You'll drive compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH and food hygiene, manage rotas with the Station Manager, control costs and margins, and ensure accurate stock and wastage management while delivering memorable moments for

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Service Leaders to deliver brilliant customer service, food quality, daily standards and availability
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe environment with compliance in Health & Safety, Food Hygiene; COSHH controls
• Identify root causes and drive continuous improvement to minimise trade disruption
• Support stock controller to maintain adequate stock levels and manage wastage
• Ensure accurate cash-handling procedures and manage shortages appropriately
• Work with Station Manager to drive sales growth while controlling costs and margins
• Assist with rota planning, recruitment, absence and holiday management, reporting issues to Operations Manager
• Deliver learning journeys and training to staff, ensuring timely completion and recording
