Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a Catering Manager to lead our Gloucester location, delivering nutritionally balanced, high-quality food and outstanding service. This full-time role has no weekend shifts and offers flexibility while benefiting communities served.

You will oversee daily operations, manage teams, budgets, and inventories, and drive improvements in service delivery, safety compliance, and client satisfaction with a collaborative leadership style.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and presentation to professional standards.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and compliance procedures.
• Strong understanding of Food Safety regulations and environmental legislation.
• Proficiency in inventory management and budget monitoring.
• Proven supervisory and team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present food to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure location meets Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental requirements with meticulous compliance records.
• Manage daily operations: supervise teams, inventories, budgets, and strategic action plans to drive efficiency.
• Serve as primary client contact; communicate adjustments and service improvements; maintain regular updates with line manager on KPIs and financial targets.
• Train and develop team members; conduct inductions and performance management.
• Analyse operational data and implement evidence-based improvements to service delivery and team performance.
• Foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment.
