Education Authority is seeking an experienced Catering Manager to lead day-to-day operations of the kitchen and dining centres. You will oversee menu development, portion control, allergen management, and service delivery across multiple dining points to ensure high standards for children, young people and staff.

You will drive staff performance, coordinate procurement and stock control, and ensure compliance with HACCP, COSHH, and food safety regulations while promoting the service to parents

Formación

• Experience in management of school catering or similar food service operations.
• Knowledge of HACCP, COSHH, and food safety standards.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to organise procurement, stock control and menu planning.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop catering teams to deliver high-quality meals.
• Oversee all food service operations across dining centres and kitchen.
• Ensure compliance with food safety legislation and allergen management.
• Manage deliveries, ordering, stock-take and waste reduction.
• Record temperatures and maintain accurate records.
• Handle budgetary controls and cash handling according to procedures.
• Promote the service and engage with parents, principals and pupils.
• Implement staff training and conduct appraisals.
