Job summary

Thomas Franks is seeking a Chef Manager at our Upminster site to lead the catering team and oversee daily production and service for staff dining and hospitality. You will work with the operations manager to ensure high standards and financial performance across the location.

The role requires a proven track record in delivering excellent food and customer service, with a recognised cooking qualification and strong leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering excellent food standards.
• Recognised cooking qualification (City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or equivalent).
• Experience as Catering Manager or equivalent leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the catering team in day-to-day production and service across the site.
• Deliver the client and company budgets and manage the location’s financials.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and food hygiene standards.
• Develop and improve the dining and hospitality offer in line with client expectations.
