Thomas Franks in Salford is hiring a General Assistant to join a fast-paced catering team. You will support serving customers, stock replenishment, and ensure hygiene and safety practices are followed. The role requires a flexible approach for occasional evenings or weekend events.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced catering environment.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Right to Work in the UK must be demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Support the team with serving customers, replenishing stocks, cleaning.
• Prepare all service areas for the day’s business and meals.
• Set up, serve, clear, clean and store away food, beverages or equipment for events.
• Prepare basic food for sale/service following hygiene standards.
• Restock stocks and consumables during service to meet customer needs.
• Handle rubbish and recycling in proper waste streams.
• Occasionally work evenings and/or weekends for functions.
• Ensure food standards, wastage control and allergen procedures are followed.
• Perform general kitchen duties including washing up and cleaning.
