Job summary

Thomas Franks is seeking a General Assistant to join our Rugby team at a leading independent contract caterer. You will work in a fast-paced environment, deliver excellent customer service, and help maintain high standards across service areas. Working patterns are 5 days over 7, with opportunities to develop through our training and apprenticeship programmes.

Free meals on duty and benefits are included. You'll prepare service areas, stock, assist with events, and ensure hygiene and safety

Qualifications

Experience in a catering or fast-paced environment preferred.
Good verbal and written English required.
Ability to lift moderately heavy items and stand for long periods.
Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

To support the team with serving customers, replenishing stocks, cleaning.
Prepare all service areas for the days business relating to that meal service.
Prepare, set-up, serve, clear, clean and store away any food, beverage or equipment required for special functions.
Prepare basic food for sale/service, following hygiene and safety practices and standards.
Restock and replenish stocks and consumables during service periods.
Empty and recycle rubbish in the correct place.
Occasionally work evenings and/or weekends for functions and events.
Adhere to Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen controls.
