BaxterStorey is seeking a Catering Assistant to support on-site hospitality operations in the United Kingdom. The role is 16 hours per week, spread over 4 days out of 7, with shifts from 3.00pm to 7.00pm and a flexible approach to meet business needs.

You will serve food and beverages, assist customers, maintain cleanliness, stock vending machines, and help with basic food preparation in a fast-paced environment. A friendly, team-oriented attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent service by being attentive to guests' needs at every point on their customer journey.
Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth operations and create an inclusive, safe working environment.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and site guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all catering areas.

Job description

Hours: 16 hours per week, working 4 days over 7 between the hours of 3.00pm to 7.00pm with a flexible approach to meet the Business needs,

Service - serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and professional manner. Ensure that guests' needs and requests are efficiently and effectively addressed
Customer Service - provide excellent service by being attentive to guests' needs at every point on their customer journey. Answering questions in a friendly manner
Teamwork - collaborate with all other staff to ensure the smooth flow of operations and support and contribute to creating an inclusive and safe working environment
Adherence to Regulations - comply with health and safety regulations, as well as any specific food service or catering guidelines established on location
Cleanliness - maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all catering areas

Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the food service industry, is often a plus
Some knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods
