BaxterStorey in Bournemouth Airport is seeking a Catering Assistant for a hands-on role, covering food prep, service and front-of-house duties. You will help maintain high hygiene standards, support the catering team and ensure smooth service during busy periods.
The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable and flexible, with a willingness to work across kitchen and catering operations. Training is provided; previous catering experience is beneficial, barista experience is a plus.

5-day week - Monday to Friday

At BaxterStorey, we are looking for a Catering Assistant who takes pride in providing great service and supporting the wider catering team.
This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on day-to-day kitchen and catering duties. Your responsibilities will include supporting food preparation and service, washing up, cleaning kitchen and service areas, clearing down, restocking and helping maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the operation.
You will also support front-of-house service, including serving customers, preparing hot drinks and coffees, operating the till and keeping customer areas clean and welcoming.
We want to be clear that this role involves regular washing up, cleaning and practical kitchen duties, so you will need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and supporting wherever needed.
We are looking for someone who is:
Friendly, professional and reliable
Comfortable with hands-on kitchen, cleaning and washing-up duties
Happy working as part of a busy team
Confident providing good customer service
Flexible and willing to support different areas of the catering operation
Previous catering or hospitality experience would be beneficial, and barista experience would be an advantage, but full training can be provided for the right person.
