Job summary

BaxterStorey in the United Kingdom is seeking a Catering Assistant to deliver genuine hospitality and impeccable service in a fast-paced environment. You will be involved in food preparation, serving guests, stocking vending machines, taking stock, and using your creativity to enhance guest experiences.

This role is 16 hours per week, spread over 4 days between 3.00pm and 7.00pm, with a flexible approach to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Have a contagious passion for food and customer service.
• You are a team player with great communication.
• Positive and friendly attitude.
• Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the food service industry, is often a plus.
• Some knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Service – serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and professional manner. Ensure that guests’ needs and requests are efficiently and effectively addressed.
• Customer Service - provide excellent service by being attentive to guests’ needs at every point on their customer journey. Answering questions in a friendly manner
• Teamwork - collaborate with all other staff to ensure the smooth flow of operations and support and contribute to creating an inclusive and safe working environment
• Adherence to Regulations - comply with health and safety regulations, as well as any specific food service or catering guidelines established on location
• Cleanliness - maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all catering areas

Salary: £12,71 per hour

Hours: 16 hours per week, working 4 days over 7 between the hours of 3.00pm to 7.00pm with a flexible approach to meet the Business needs
