Job summary

Wren Kitchens in Barton-Upon-Humber is hiring an experienced Catering Assistant to join our kitchen at our state-of-the-art factory. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:30, with a salary of £28,332.

Driving licence is essential. You will handle vending machine replenishment, stock checks with suppliers, basic food preparation, and maintain a clean workstation as part of a weekly cleaning rota.

• Ability to cover other staff due to holidays, sickness etc.
• Interest and knowledge of food.
• Capable of working in a culturally diverse environment.
• Driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Catering Assistant to join our kitchen, based at our state-of-the art factory in Barton-Upon-Humber. The position is full time, working 5 days a week from Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:30. Salary for this position is £28,332.

Main responsibilities

• Dealing with the replenishment of vending machines.
• Ensuring stock levels are maintained for the vending machines by liaising with suppliers and regularly checking stock levels.
• Basic preparation , serving and handling of food in the canteen when required
• Keeping the workstation tidy, includes clearing down at the end of the shift, washing up and good observation of cleanliness
• Being part of the cleaning rota on a weekly basis
