Job summary

Wren Kitchens is seeking a Machine Cleaner for our quartz factory in Scunthorpe. The role runs Monday to Friday, 14:30-23:00, within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for cleaning machinery and work areas to meet exacting standards and following established checklists.

We value reliability, flexibility, and a proactive approach to learning. COSHH experience is desirable, along with the ability to work well in a diverse team and commit to continuous development.

• Clean the machinery and areas of the factory to maintain high standards.

• Carry out additional responsibilities outside normal hours as directed by Supervisors or Managers.

About The Role

We are recruiting for a Machine Cleaner to join our team based at our quartz factory in Scunthorpe. The candidate will work from Monday to Friday, 14:30-23:00.

Main responsibilities

• Cleaning the machinery and areas of the factory to bring them in line with high standards set in all other areas of the factory
• Following check lists to ensure all tasks are carried out accordingly
• Adhering to policies and procedures regarding the proper use and care of equipment and materials associated with the role
• Pursuing personal development of skills and knowledge in order to effectively perform the role
• Additional responsibilities that may be out of normal working hours directed by Supervisors or Managers

About You

Desired skills and knowledge

• Experience of cleaning machinery in a factory
• High level cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential
• Experience with COSHH
• Flexibility, commitment and punctuality
• Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment
