Job summary

Wren Kitchens in Barton-upon-Humber is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our transport team. You will operate a two-person delivery crew, delivering kitchens to customers' homes with a focus on safety and customer service.

The role involves night shifts starting at 20:00, 48 hours per week, and a quarterly bonus up to £750. Comprehensive training and benefits are provided as part of a market-leading package.

Qualifications

• More than 1-year experience in HGV driving.
• Valid C+E UK Driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Up-to-date Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC Qualification.
• Comfortable with manual handling; physically demanding role.
• Good customer service and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver kitchens safely and efficiently to customers' homes; physically demanding.
• Work as part of a two-person delivery team.
• Load and unload vehicles safely.
• Provide accurate delivery updates and ETAs to customers.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Comply with Driver Hours, Working Time Regulations and company procedures.
• Represent Wren Kitchens professionally at all times.

About The Role

Location: Barton-upon-Humber

Salary: £44,304-£47,304

Pay: £17.75 per hour (weekly payments)

Hours: Guaranteed 48 hours per week

Bonus: Quarterly bonus up to £750

We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 V60 Drivers to join our award-winning Transport team based in Barton-upon-Humber.

Working as part of a two-person crew, you will deliver kitchens directly to customers’ homes while providing a professional and excellent customer experience.

Main Responsibilities

• Deliver kitchens safely and efficiently to customers' homes, this is a physically demanding role

• Ensure customers receive accurate delivery updates and ETAs
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Comply with Driver Hours, Working Time Regulations and company procedures
• Represent Wren Kitchens professionally at all time

About You

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

• More than 1-year experience in HGV driving
• Hold a valid C+E UK Driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Hold an up-to-date Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC Qualification
• Comfortable with manual handling, as this is a physically demanding role
• Good customer service skills and a professional attitude
