Job summary

Keys in Crawley is seeking a dedicated Casual Children's Residential Support Worker to help care for children and young people with complex needs. You will join two family homes, provide emotional and physical support, and act as a supportive caregiver in crisis times.

Role requires flexibility to work shifts and sleep-ins, a full UK driving licence, and a caring, patient attitude. The company offers extensive training, DBS paid for, generous leave, and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• We want people who are naturally caring, flexible and resilient.
• Full UK Driving licence is essential.
• Experience in care or transferable skills such as children's nursery, education, sports or working with vulnerable people is beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to remain calm during challenging situations.
• Willingness to work shifts and sleep-ins.

Job Title: Children’s Residential Support Worker

Salary: from £14.45 per hour PLUS an additional £62.64 per sleep in

We are looking for casual dedicated children's support workers to become part of our brand new family home, caring for children and young people who may have complex needs, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioural difficulties. You would be the person to give encouragement and praise when needed, to be patient and understanding during times of crisis and to inspire them to grow and develop.

We want to create a safe haven where every child's potential shines bright,you'll be the beacon of hope, providing unwavering support to our young champions.

The role can be emotionally challenging and you could be handling difficult situations BUT you could be the person to change a child's life for the better.

What do you need?

• Great communication skills, positive and energetic.
• Experiencein care or transferable skills such as children's nursery, education, sports or working with vulnerable people is beneficial but not essential.

• Full UK Driving licence is essential.
• You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins
