Job summary

The Celtic Manor Resort in Newport is seeking Casual Events Bartenders to join our busy Conference & Events team. You will serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with speed and charm during conferences, banquets, Christmas parties and other events.

We offer flexible evening and weekend shifts, full training and the chance to be part of the UK's largest celebrations. Work in a fast-paced, guest‑facing role and help deliver memorable hospitality experiences.

Qualifications

• A positive, friendly and enthusiastic approach to guest service.
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy, high-volume bar environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A flexible approach to working evenings, weekends and throughout the festive period.
• Experience within hospitality, events, bars or customer service is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to help create memorable guest experiences.
• Applicants must be aged 18 or over due to licensing requirements.

RECRUITMENT INFO

• Interviews will take place throughout August, with successful candidates commencing employment in September in preparation for our busy Christmas events season.
• In the event we receive a high number of applications, we reserve the right to close this campaign early.
• All applicants must have the right to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of eligibility of right to work will be required as part of the recruitment process in line with current UK Visas and Immigration regulations. Applicants must be aged 18 or over.
