Job summary

BH Live is hiring Casual Bar and Café Assistants for Littledown Centre in Bournemouth. You will support the Lookout, café and bar areas, serving food and drinks and delivering great customer service to visitors.

Role is casual with shifts including weekends and evenings; training and development opportunities are offered. Gym and Swim membership and onsite parking are among benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic food hygiene certificate (training can be provided to help you achieve this qualification).
• Enjoy working with customers face to face and providing high levels of customer service.
• Understand health and safety requirements of working with food and drink.
• Must be aged 18+ due to serving alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-quality catering service.
• Serve food and beverages as required.
• Clean, tidy and prepare all catering areas according to cleaning schedules.
• Provide great customer service to centre visitors.

Salary: Up to £12.71 per hour

This is a great opportunity to fit work around your lifestyle. We are expanding our team of Casual Bar and Cafe Assistants based at the Littledown Centre in Bournemouth.

Littledown is the region's flagship leisure centre. It has high-quality fitness facilities including a well-equipped gym with a cardio area, resistance machines, free weights, and functional fitness spaces.

You will be an integral part of our hospitality team, providing great customer service whilst preparing, cooking and serving food and drinks to our customers visiting the centre.

You will work across the Lookout, café and bar area.

You will:

• Provide a high-quality catering service.
• Serve food and beverages as required.
• Clean, tidy and prepare all areas associated with the catering facilities, following set cleaning schedules.
• Provide great customer service to everyone visiting the centre.

You will need:

• A basic food and hygiene certificate (training can be provided to help you achieve this qualification).
• To enjoy working with customers face to face and providing high levels of customer service.
• An understanding of the health and safety requirements of working with food and drink.
• To be aged 18 years old or above, due to serving alcohol.

Due to the nature of our business hours of work will include weekends, bank holidays and evenings aligned to the centres opening hours.
