Job summary

Bannatyne in Edinburgh is seeking a Cafe Bar Assistant to join our welcoming cafe bar team. You will greet members and guests, serve beverages and light snacks, and help maintain a clean, inviting environment.

This part-time role offers 16 hours per week, £12.71 per hour, and flexible scheduling including weekends. Enjoy a range of staff perks aimed at supporting health, wellbeing and development.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
• L2 food safety certification desirable.

A typical day in the life of a Cafe Bar Assistant:

• Greet and serve members and guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages and light snacks efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the cafe bar area.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment.
• Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
• Provide information about the club's services and facilities as needed.
• Work collaboratively with the team to create a welcoming atmosphere.
