Job summary

Bunzl Greenham is recruiting a Sales Ledger Administrator to support cash flow optimisation and overdue debt reduction from Isleworth. You will manage credit control and collections activities, liaise with customers and internal teams, and ensure accurate cash allocation and ledgers.

The role focuses on proactive debt recovery, handling customer queries, and maintaining relationships with branches while contributing to efficient financial processes and month-end tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control and cash collection
• Strong communication with internal and external customers
• Experience with cash allocation and ledger management

Responsibilities

• Credit Control / Cash Collection - Telephone/Contact customers on a regular basis following up due monies and building relationships
• Cash Allocation/Sales Ledger Management - ensure all payments and transactions are allocated to the correct accounts; notify unapplied cash to Senior/Team Leader
• Ledgers/Accounts - manage own workload and reduce aged debt
• Relationships - establish rapport with internal and external customers
• Dunning - send overdue letters and pre-legal actions
• Queries - handle calls and correspondence; liaise with customers and branches to resolve disputes
• Escalation - identify risk/opps and escalate to Senior/Team Leader
• General admin and filing - process paperwork and manage mail
• Team - stand in for other team members when necessary
