Mears Group in Crawley is seeking a skilled Carpenter to perform reactive and planned maintenance across social housing properties. The role involves carrying out a wide range of carpentry tasks in occupied and void homes, delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Requirements include proven carpentry experience, first and second fix skills, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work independently while managing a varied workload.

Formación

• Proven carpentry experience carrying out domestic maintenance and repair works
• Experience completing first and second fix carpentry
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
• Strong customer service skills
• Experience within social housing
• A carpentry or other trades qualification is desirable
• Knowledge of damp and mould related repairs and associated legislation is desirable

Responsabilidades

• Carrying out reactive carpentry repairs in occupied properties
• Undertaking first and second fix carpentry works
• Hanging doors
• Installing and repairing skirting and architraves
• Repairing and maintaining windows and doors
• Completing lock changes and repairs
• Repairing worktops and kitchen units
• Working across occupied and void properties
• Delivering excellent customer service
• Completing both reactive and planned maintenance works
