Job summary

Mears Group in Crawley is seeking a skilled Carpenter to undertake reactive and planned maintenance across social housing properties. You will carry out domestic carpentry repairs, hang doors, install skirting, and maintain windows and doors while delivering work safely and to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Proven carpentry experience carrying out domestic maintenance and repair works.
• Experience completing first and second fix carpentry.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience within social housing.
• A carpentry or other trades qualification is desirable.
• Knowledge of damp and mould related repairs and associated legislation is desirable.

• Carrying out reactive carpentry repairs in occupied properties
