Overview

Wylander Solutions, a recruiting company specializing in the construction industry, is hiring a Project Manager/Carpenter for a full-service disaster restoration company located in Reading, PA.

Compensation and Benefits

• $25-$32/hr. (based on experience)

Responsibilities

• Ability to follow job scope and read blueprints to complete work on time and within budget
• Ability to manage reconstruction projects
• Respond to property damage emergency calls
• Plan, organize, and manage crews and subcontractors
• Ability to install and/or construct on the job site as needed
• Instruct and direct laborers and other construction trade helpers
• Complete any necessary paperwork to record all job notes and utilize proprietary software if required
• Attend all appropriate company meetings
• Attend regular company-sponsored training sessions
• Additional duties required as needed

Requirements

• 10+ years of construction knowledge
• 2+ years’ experience as a team lead/ project manager, preferably in the restoration/construction industry
• Ability to manage schedules and subcontractors
• Proper tools are needed to assist when necessary on job sites
• Possesses exceptional organizational and planning skills (detail-oriented person)
• Ability to recognize and solve problems independently
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, responsible, and accountable
