Job description

We're looking for a Caretaker to join our Maintenance team based at Welling School in Greater London.

Location:

Welling School, Welling, Greater London.

Contract:

Full Time, Permanent (shifts 06:00 - 14:30 & 10:00 - 18:30).

What will you be responsible for?

As a Caretaker, you'll work within the facilities team, supporting repairs and maintenance across the site.

1. Reporting building maintenance issues through the Kier Helpdesk.
2. Carrying out building fabric repairs, adjustments, maintenance, installations, and removals.
3. Unblocking toilets, changing light bulbs, changing locks, and painting.
4. Accepting deliveries and distributing parcels.

This role of Caretaker is ideal if:

1. You can communicate effectively with clients and staff.
2. You have previous experience in a caretaker/porter role (desired but not essential).
3. You possess strong DIY skills.
4. You have a positive and personable attitude.
