Your role

Hadleigh Market Feoffment Charity are looking for a Caretaker for the historic Grade I and II listed building, The Guildhall which is located just off the Market Place in Hadleigh, Suffolk.

The Guildhall comprises a number of function rooms which are available for hire for meetings and events. The administration of bookings is handled by the Bookings Clerk.

As our Caretaker, you will ensure the effective and efficient running of The Guildhall hires and will involve heavy lifting of tables and chairs.

Your Responsibilities

Undertaking a full caretaking service including setting up rooms for events, setting down and cleaning rooms after events and to carry out light maintenance/DIY as required.

You will need:

• practical experience of working as a Caretaker or similar
• practical experience of light maintenance/DIY work
• knowledge of moving and handling procedures.
