Job summary

Helping Hands in Liverpool is seeking a Care and Training Practitioner to shape exceptional care from onboarding to ongoing development. You’ll train upcoming carers, coach the team, and support branch quality, compliance and customer relationships.

This role combines field visits with leadership and office collaboration, offering variety, impact and clear pathways for growth within a nationwide, award-winning care provider.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant and a desire to take the next step in your career.
• A full, clean UK driving licence and access to a roadworthy, insured vehicle.
• Strong communication skills and a supportive, encouraging approach to working with others.
• A keen eye for detail and confidence in maintaining compliance and quality standards.
• A people-first mindset – calm, kind and ready to lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor and support new carers so they feel confident, capable and ready to deliver extraordinary care.
• Assist the branch team with compliance, auditing and documentation.
• Complete spot checks and supervisions to maintain high standards across your care team.
• Visit customers to review care plans, ensuring they remain accurate, safe and person-centred.
• Carry out risk assessments with care, clarity and professionalism.
• Support on-call duties in line with the branch rota.
