Job summary

Helping Hands in Stalybridge is seeking a Care and Training Practitioner to shape exceptional care by coaching new carers from interview through onboarding. You’ll lead training sessions, guide the team, and help maintain quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant and desire to advance.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Strong communication skills and supportive approach.
• Keen eye for detail with ability to maintain compliance and quality.
• People-first mindset and readiness to lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor and support new carers to deliver extraordinary care.
• Assist branch team with compliance, auditing and documentation.
• Complete spot checks and supervisions to uphold high standards.
• Visit customers to review care plans for accuracy and safety.
• Carry out risk assessments with professionalism.
• Support on-call duties in line with branch rota.
