Housing 21 is looking for Care Workers in Lancaster to support residents living independently in our Extra Care schemes. You’ll join a friendly team, assist with daily tasks, meals, and personal care, and help residents lead their best lives.

No prior experience or qualifications are required; a positive attitude, reliability and good English are key. Full training, career progression via the Extra Care Academy, and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience or formal qualifications required; a positive attitude and kind manner are valued.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support with household and domestic tasks such as laundry, shopping and cleaning.
• Assist with meals and beverages, following care plans where applicable.
• Provide personal care including washing, dressing, and mobility support as needed.
• Help residents to maintain independence and wellbeing, reporting progress to managers.
