Housing 21 is seeking a caring Care Worker to join our Extra Care schemes in the United Kingdom. You’ll support residents living in independent apartments, building relationships and contributing to a warm, community-focused environment.

No prior experience or specific qualifications are required for this role; a positive attitude and reliable approach are valued. We offer full training, progression through the Extra Care Academy, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with household tasks such as laundry, shopping, cleaning, and basic financial transactions.
• Prepare meals, drinks and snacks as needed.
• Encourage residents to follow care plans and participate in activities.
• Assist with personal care and morning/evening routines, including washing and dressing; support with medications as required.
• Promote resident wellbeing and keep managers and agencies informed of progress.
