Job summary

Housing 21 is seeking Care Workers to support residents in Extra Care schemes where residents live independently with access to communal lounges, gardens, cafés and a hair salon. You will be part of a friendly, supportive team and join a role with paid hourly contracts rather than per-task pay.

Qualifications

• Be kind and friendly with residents.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Reliability and flexibility with shift patterns.
• Willingness to undertake further training and progression.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with household tasks such as laundry, shopping and cleaning.
• Prepare meals and drinks and support daily living activities.
• Encourage residents to follow care plans and routines.
• Provide personal care as required and assist with mobility and medication prompts.
• Maintain resident wellbeing, communicate progress to managers and relevant agencies.
