Housing 21 is seeking a compassionate Care Worker to join our Extra Care team. You will support residents living independently in our schemes, helping with daily tasks and personal care while building lasting relationships with service users and colleagues.

No prior experience is required—just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. We offer full training and opportunities to progress through our Extra Care Academy, with benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• No experience or qualifications required; positive attitude and kind manner.
• Good written and spoken English communication.
• Commitment to undertake necessary further training.
• Reliability and flexibility.
• Ability to use your initiative and stay calm under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with daily tasks such as laundry, shopping, cleaning and paying bills.
• Prepare meals, drinks and snacks as needed.
• Support residents to follow care plans and routines.
• Assist with personal care including washing, bathing and dressing; help with morning/evening routines and medication reminders.
• Communicate progress to managers and other agencies as required.
