Housing 21 is seeking Care Workers to support residents in independent living within our Extra Care schemes. You will join a friendly, supportive team delivering day-to-day care with a focus on enabling residents to live their best lives.

No formal qualifications are required, and full training plus progression opportunities are provided. We offer paid training, holiday pay, sickness and maternity pay, access to a Health Cash Plan, and a 50p hourly enhancement for Level 2.

Qualifications

• No experience or formal qualifications required; a positive attitude and kind manner are enough.
• We offer full training and recognised qualifications.
• Joining the Extra Care Academy can help you progress into management.

Responsabilités

• Support residents with household tasks such as laundry, shopping, cleaning and paying bills.
• Prepare meals, drinks and snacks as needed.
• Encourage residents to follow care plans and assist with personal care.
• Assist residents with getting up, washing, dressing and bedtime routines; monitor wellbeing.
• Keep managers and agencies informed of progress and resident status.
