Job summary

Housing 21 is seeking a dedicated Care Worker to support residents living in Independent apartments within our Extra Care schemes. You will contribute to daily domestic tasks, meal provision and personal care while building genuine connections with residents and colleagues.

No formal qualifications are required; training is provided, and there are opportunities to progress through the Extra Care Academy to management roles. A supportive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support residents with household tasks such as laundry, shopping and light cleaning.
• Assist in preparing meals, drinks, and snacks as needed for residents.
• Encourage residents to follow agreed care plans and promote independence.
• Help residents with morning routines and personal care where appropriate.
• Support wellbeing and communicate progress to managers and other agencies.
