Job summary

Helping Hands is seeking a dedicated Care and Training Practitioner in Milton Keynes to lead onboarding, coaching and quality assurance for front‑line carers. You’ll shape exceptional care in the community while developing strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

You will coordinate training, audits and visits, promoting compliance and continual growth across the branch. A driving licence and a passion for people‑centred care are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant and progression desire.
• Valid full UK driving licence and vehicle access.
• Excellent communication and supportive approach to teamwork.
• Keen eye for detail and compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor and support new carers to deliver extraordinary care.
• Assist branch with compliance, auditing and documentation.
• Complete spot checks and supervisions to maintain high standards.
• Review care plans during customer visits to ensure safety and person‑centred care.
• Conduct risk assessments with professionalism and clarity.
• Support on‑call duties per branch rota.
