Job summary

Helping Hands is seeking a Care and Training Practitioner in West Bridgford to shape exceptional care and support new carers from interview to onboarding journey.

You will coach, guide and uplift the branch team while maintaining quality, compliance, and strong relationships with customers. The role blends field visits with team leadership and office collaboration, offering meaningful impact and development.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to insured vehicle.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Detail-oriented with compliance focus.
• People-first mindset and leadership example.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor and support new carers so they feel confident, capable and ready to deliver extraordinary care.
• Assist the branch team with compliance, auditing and documentation.
• Complete spot checks and supervisions to maintain high standards across your care team.
• Visit customers to review care plans, ensuring they remain accurate, safe and person-centred.
• Carry out risk assessments with care, clarity and professionalism.
• Support on-call duties in line with the branch rota.
