Vision for Education Ltd is recruiting a Care to Classroom Support Assistant for a SEND school in Hereford. You will help students aged 11-19 with daily needs and learning activities, drawing on care experience to support independence and safety.

The role offers full-time, long-term work with CPD and guidance to transition into education, with pay rates discussed at registration and a supportive consultancy.

Qualifications

• Experience from care, healthcare or support backgrounds.
• Willing to transition into education with guidance and CPD.
• Ability to support personal and emotional needs of young people.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal and emotional support for young people with complex needs
• Support communication using visual and alternative methods
• Assist with personal care and physical needs where required
• Support young people in classroom learning, life skills and sensory activities
• Build positive, trusting relationships with students
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff
