The role -
Care to Classroom Support Workers is required across specialist SEND and SEMH schools in Birmingham, supporting pupils with complex needs, autism and behavioural difficulties. This role is ideal for candidates from care, residential or support work backgrounds looking to transition into education. You will support pupils with personal care, behaviour management and classroom engagement within structured and supportive school environments.
To be considered for the Care to Classroom Support Worker, you will:
Hold suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students
Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
