Job summary

Your Education Supply Ltd. in Derby is seeking a Team Leader / Deputy Manager to lead a permanent care team on a 36–48 hour week.

The role is a structured leadership path toward Service Manager and Registered Manager levels, with a clear progression route and ongoing funded training. You will oversee shifts, ensure incident management and safeguarding standards, and support staff development in a high-acuity setting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in complex care environments.
• Strong leadership and incident management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while safeguarding residents.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and supervise staff to ensure safety and quality of care.
• Coordinate staff deployment and cover for shifts as needed.
• Oversee care plans, PBS and risk assessments to ensure best practice.
• Lead responses during significant behavioural incidents and de-escalation.
• Monitor staff practice and identify training needs to improve care.
